A retired Architect and lover of the sea, I have been painting for many years always fascinated by the numerous moods, colours and shapes that the sea and water movement can reveal.

Most of the paintings are seascapes and scenes from around the Southwest coastline, but not all. Water is a wonderful subject to paint; it can be solid, massive, translucent with colour or delicate and transparent. The sea state can show extremes of power and energy then return to smooth calm and tranquillity.

I try to give real value for money in my paintings. They take a long time to paint and I hope you will enjoy looking closely. the more you look the more detail you will find.
